Tuesday night (September 1st) at 7.30pm, Somerset Speedway will feature their 20th match rewind and that will bring the curtain down on the regular action catch up series.

Having commenced the series back on April 14th, the final meeting to be shown will be the 2018 Premiership clash with neighbours Poole.

Featuring Jason Doyle, Bradley Wilson-Dean, Claus Vissing, Richard Lawson, Jack Holder, Jake Allen and Nico Covatti the Rebels were seeking their sixth home win of the season on June 20th 2018 facing a Poole side that were sitting in unfamiliar Pirate territory - bottom of the table.

What unfolded was a tense affair with the outcome always in doubt, and with ReRun Productions providing the footage, and Speedway Portal attending to the edits, just as they have done so throughout the project, the action is set to be re-lived once again with the Tuesday's Premiere transmitting at 7.30pm via the link below (click on the graphic).

Co-promoter and team manager Garry May who has been a devoted advocate of these video replays acknowledged the hard work of those involved in bringing the Tuesday action to people's screens. "I would like to sincerely thank Steve Girdwood of ReRun Productions and the extremely hard working Andy Hague of Speedway Portal for all their efforts and contributions in making these screenings. Also to Dave Thompson for his research in selecting a number of the meetings and to the supporters too who contacted us with their choices. It has been really good to turn the clocks back on Tuesday evenings and we are going out on a real high with this Poole match. It is not quite the same as watching live speedway at the track but with all that is going on in the world today with Covid-19 restrictions it is certainly been a great way of getting a speedway fix!"
