The introduction of the 2020 'Cases' Somerset Rebels is less than twenty days away, with the club staging its Annual Press and Practice Day on Wednesday 25th March 2020.

With concerted behind-the-scene activity on-going to complete the Rebels' septet, following the enforced injury withdrawal of Bradley Wilson-Dean, club owner Debbie Hancock is hopeful that there will be a full complement of riders on show at the launch event, claiming "We are rapidly closing in on completing a deal for our seventh member as we look to Press Day which this year will follow a similar format as to that of the 2019 launch."
"The day will commence with a 2pm photo-shoot which is open to invited members of the Press and our club sponsors only. But members of the public will be admitted in time for the on track practice which we are planning to get underway at 3pm. Practice will last through until around 5.30pm and then the riders will have time to prepare for the evening session of interviews in front of the general public. "
"Our hot food refreshment kiosk will be open from 5pm and during the course of the evening there will be plenty of opportunities for our fans to have their photos taken with the riders of their choice."
"Once again, we will be open for the purchase of Season Tickets, which will be the last chance to buy ahead of the start of the season. Our season tickets are priced at £235 for Adults and £205 for students and I would remind prospective purchasers that this year there will be a £1 per meeting discount on either the matchday programme or on a purchase at the refreshment kiosk for each our season ticket holders. Not forgetting also that the 2020 season sees also a special Southern Track scheme which entitles Somerset Season Ticket holders to a £5 discount on admission to meetings at Swindon, Poole and Eastbourne which are covered by the staging club's season ticket rules (ie general league matches).
