2017 World Champion Jason Doyle has confirmed that he will be attending Somerset Speedway's 20th Anniversary dinner on Saturday 6th April.

For Doyle, who has ridden for the club in four seasons including the double winning year of 2013, Pairs winner that season and leading the club to their highest ranking piece of silverware the 2018 Premiership Knockout Cup trophy, the Dinner event occurs on one of his rare free Saturday's in the course of the speedway season and his inclusion on the guests list has been a welcome boost to club owner Debbie Hancock.

"Without a shadow of a doubt Doyley is the biggest name to have ever ridden for the Rebels and to have him included as part of our celebrations is absolutely perfect. I have been extremely pleased with the level of interest that the Dinner has attracted but I can also confirm that it is still not too late to book a place at the event .

Tickets for the event are £30 per person which will also include a free ticket in to the draw to be held at the Anniversary Dinner with prizes that include a season ticket for 2019 and replica team clothing together.
In addition, all ticket holders will receive a voucher that they can exchange for a FREE souvenir programme at the club’s Anniversary Meeting against Poole on the preceding Wednesday.

Doyle will be accompanied by fellow guests Neil Collins, Steve Bishop and Jordan Frampton, all of whom have proven to be popular Rebels whilst previous owner and promoter Pete Toogood will also be in attendance.
